WHO WE ARE

In the span of less than a year, two Spring Hill students decided to take their own lives. We are a group of parents in Spring Hill who decided “not again.” We came up with a four point plan that included monthly events, mentoring programs, a teen center and outdoor recreation facility, and a teen talk line. We are here to listen, to love our teens, and to let them know that we are listening when they need to talk.

Our events each month are always offered free of charge for teens to attend and enjoy– no teen should be turned away from SHIFT for Teens events based on ability to pay. Events range from karaoke nights to minute-to-win-it type challenges, movie nights, dances, and more. These are always open to teens in the 6th to 12th grades in our community.
